Chasing the Sun: The art of raising mental health awareness

Baltimore removed its Confederate monuments a year ago, so what's changed?
A brief story behind the removal of four Baltimore monuments, and the controversy behind a series of murals based on the life of Harriet Tubman created by artist Mike Alewitz back in 2000. How after 18 years, the imagery of an armed black woman still concurs fear. Included in this blog post is a Baltimore Sun Op-Ed piece I wrote on 8/15/2018
